Loading External Subtitles

When playing a video file (not on a disc), CyberLink PowerDVD searches for a subtitle file in the same directory where the video file is located. If a file is found, the subtitles are loaded and the
Subtitles option is enabled in the Express Menu.

Note: This feature is only available during the playback of DivX video files.

CyberLink PowerDVD supports the following subtitle formats: SMI, ASS, SAA, PSB, SRT, SUB. CyberLink PowerDVD also provides support for different languages if there is a language identifier in the file name, e.g. xxxx.cht.sub.
